The Child Development Associate (CDA) is a nationally recognized credential suitable for anyone entering a career as an early childhood professional.

Oakmont students enrolled in the CDA Pathway will complete a three-step certification process, including a minimum of 480 hours working with children in the age range of the certification, targeted and individual instruction to assist students in passing the CDA Exam, and finally, scheduling the CDA Verification Visit with a third party Professional Development (PD) specialist. This three-step process ensures the highest degree of success for CDA Pathway students.
